Signature parts
Every one of these started as a part someone else said was too difficult to form — too thin, too long, too eccentric, or too tight on tolerance.
The parts below all start as wire and are formed on multi-station presses. Where a part needs a bore, a thread or a tight tip, the heading is followed by turning or rolling — on the same site.
Current-carrying pins where plating thickness and a burr-free edge decide contact resistance — and where a rough edge becomes heat.
The offset mass has to be balanced: a few hundredths of a millimetre off-centre is audible in a phone or a wearable.
Shoulder held by the die rather than by turning, which is why the diameter repeats across batches without a second operation.
Micro diameter with a polished tip: the contact surface matters more than the body, and it cannot be reworked after plating.
A toothed head that takes torque without cam-out on automated lines, in a shape no standard driver fits.
Length is easy; straightness is not. Over 300 mm, thread run-out is what decides whether a module assembles without force.
A step screw that carries load and centres a caster at the same time — the shoulder takes the weight, the thread takes the vibration.
